For me, it was when I was working in the MIddle East. I was the only American on a research Team of 5 & leading the project for the MInistry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman. I’d come up against some major obstacles, and awakened in a fetal position, frozen in place, unable to move. God spoke to me & instructed me to “Get up, and open my Bible.” HE repeated it twice because, initially, I was unable to move. When I finally did manage to get up and get my Bible, I sat down – with tears flowing – .& prayed for HIS guidance through HIS word. After praying, I randomly opened my Bible. It opened to Jeremiah 1:4-10. I was a Western female in an Arab Country in a leadership role. This scripture became my anointing. It’s the foundation for my service-based work today. <3
